Meet Julie:
Therapist for Burnout, Overwhelm, and Anxiety for Adults in Ontario
Hi there, I’m Julie (she/her), a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over eight years of experience helping individuals and families.
I’m passionate about supporting young adults and professionals in Ontario who are experiencing burnout, overwhelm, anxiety, or stress. If you find yourself constantly giving to others, struggling with people-pleasing, self-doubt, or feeling stuck trying to figure out what you want and who you want to be, you are not alone. I provide online therapy that helps you slow down, understand the patterns shaping your choices, and discover ways to take up more space, set boundaries, and prioritize your own needs.
A big part of my work is helping clients understand how early experiences continue to show up in their lives today. Together, we explore how these patterns may contribute to burnout, overwhelm, stress, or relational challenges, and we create practical, meaningful strategies to move forward. My goal is to offer a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and supported as you reconnect with yourself and begin living in a way that feels aligned with who you are becoming.
My Approach to Therapy
My own journey with mental health has deeply influenced my approach to therapy. It’s given me a strong understanding of the struggles many people face, and it’s why I’m dedicated to offering compassionate and effective support.
I aim to create a space where you feel safe and supported as you explore your story. Together, we’ll work through what’s going on, find healthy ways to cope, and help you grow. This journey is all about helping you feel hopeful and stronger for a brighter future.
I approach therapy with empathy, respect, and teamwork. I use proven methods and tailor our sessions to fit your unique needs and goals. We’ll focus on building from your strengths and understanding your past experiences to guide our work, while not forgetting to celebrate your progress throughout your journey!
